PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes Michael Ellzey

DALLAS, TX (Sept. 23, 2021) –PlainsCapital Bank recently announced that Michael Ellzey has joined its commercial lending team as senior vice president. He will office out of The Woodlands branch at 1699 Research Forest Dr., Suite 100.

Ellzey has more than 20 years of commercial lending and banking experience in the greater Houston region. He joins from Community Bank of Texas where he developed new and existing business and helped clients meet profit and loan quality goals. Ellzey is the latest addition to PlainsCapital’s team in The Woodlands led by branch president, Danny Schroder, who opened the location in June 2020.

Ellzey received a BBA in finance from Sam Houston State University and holds a lending certificate from the University of Texas. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County and is a volunteer at Inspiration Ranch. Ellzey is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
