PrimeLending Partners with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity to Build a Home for a North Texas Family in Need

PrimeLending partnered with Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity to make the dream of homeownership a reality for a deserving North Texas family. The build kicked-off at the end of October and is scheduled to be complete by mid-December.

The house, located in south Dallas, is built in partnership with the Nzirubusa and Habonimana family. Charles Nzirubusa and Safira Habonimana moved to the U.S. from Burundi six years ago with their two daughters Agnes, 17, and Angelique, 15. The family has been living in an apartment located in a high-crime, high-traffic area in west Dallas. They look forward to investing in a safe place they can finally call their own.

Founded in 1986, Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and its contributors have built more than 1,200 homes and helped revitalize more than 20 communities in North Texas. Each year they partner with hardworking individuals and community partners like PrimeLending to build more than 70 homes for families in need. For three consecutive years, they have been named the largest nonprofit homebuilder and largest single family residential homebuilder overall in the City of Dallas.
