PrimeLending Hosts Annual Sales Rally at the Omni in Downtown Dallas

PrimeLending’s 2013 annual sales rally was held January 15-17 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas. The three-day event was attended by more than 950 PrimeLending employees including loan officers, branch managers and executive officers from all over the U.S.

The theme for this year’s event was “Business as UNusual.” Keynote speaker Erik Wahl, internationally recognized graffiti artist, author and entrepreneur, kicked off the sales rally with a speech on profitability through creative, out-of-the box thinking. After the presentation, Wahl invited everyone to participate in a scavenger hunt for a painting he created onstage by tweeting clues to his personal Twitter account. Other topics of discussion included regulatory updates, marketing, multicultural lending and underwriting.

Mo the Buffalo was the star of the sales rally, leading a flash mob to the songs “It’s Not Unusual,” “Proud Mary” and “PrimeLending Style,” a spoof on the pop-culture phenomenon “Gangnam Style.” Watch the flash mob here on the PrimeLending YouTube Channel! At night, the familiar buffalo logo could be seen shining brightly from afar on the side of the Omni Hotel.

“The sales rally is a great way to energize and educate our teammates,” said Scott Bristol, executive vice president of national production at PrimeLending. “It’s also an opportunity to meet people from all over the U.S. and establish new and lasting relationships within the company. This year’s sales rally was a huge success and the ‘Business as UNusual’ theme did an excellent job demonstrating ways to think outside of the box and be more creative in our careers.”
