PlainsCapital Welcomes Executive Vice President Lisa Cummings, Executive Vice President Brian Selbo, Senior Vice President Monte Dunn and Senior Vice President Tanya Winchel

Lisa Cummings joins PlainsCapital Corporation as executive vice president of compensation, employee benefits and data. With more than 25 years of legal and human resources experience, she is responsible for managing and overseeing executive and salaried compensation, PlainsCapital benefits plans, payroll and human resources information systems (HRIS).

Cummings previously served as vice president of global compensation, benefits and HRIS at MoneyGram International Inc. She also worked for Walmart Corporate, Dell Computer Corporation, Halliburton and Cadbury Schweppes in similar functional roles.

Cummings received both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Juris Doctorate from The University of Oklahoma. She offices at PlainsCapital Corporation’s Victory Park location.

Brian Selbo joins PlainsCapital Bank as executive vice president of commercial real estate credit. He is responsible for review and approval of commercial real estate transactions within the Bank. Selbo has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, including 18 years within financial institutions and 13 years working with development firms. He previously served as director of special assets at Southwest Securities, FSB.

Selbo earned a B.B.A. with an emphasis in real estate and marketing from Southern Methodist University. He offices at PlainsCapital Bank’s Victory Park location.

With more than 20 years of experience managing multisite teams for large financial institutions, Monte Dunn joins PlainsCapital Corporation as senior vice president and corporate director of security. He is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive safety and security program for the Corporation. He also coordinates with all necessary national, regional and local security and law enforcement personnel to ensure the security plan is effectively implemented companywide.

Dunn previously served as regional managing director for ETS, an electronic services spectrum management company. He also worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Washington Mutual Bank and Bank of America where his responsibilities mirrored his role at PlainsCapital.

Dunn earned a B.S. in social psychology from Dallas Baptist University with a minor in management. He offices at PlainsCapital Corporation’s Victory Park location.

Tanya Winchel joins PlainsCapital Corporation as senior vice president and director of tax. She is responsible for corporate tax compliance and reporting, tax planning and management of income tax audits. Winchel has 19 years of experience in the tax industry with expertise in partnership, individual and corporate tax law. She previously served as principal of tax at Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC in Indianapolis.

Winchel received both a B.B.A. and MBA from Western Michigan University with concentrations in economics and accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is currently a member of Texas Society of CPAs and Dallas Society of CPAs. She offices at PlainsCapital Corporation’s Victory Park location.
