PlainsCapital Bank's Albert Estrada Receives the First Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award from The University of Texas at San Antonio
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Alumni Association honored Albert Estrada with the Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award at their 13th annual awards gala on July 27 at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio. Albert was presented with the Association’s first Lifetime Achievement award for his generous and continued support of the University and the UTSA Alumni Association.
Albert graduated from UTSA’s College of Business in 1983 with a B.B.A. in finance. He currently serves as senior vice president of commercial lending for PlainsCapital Bank in San Antonio. Albert has served on the UTSA Alumni Association board of directors for more than 12 years, serving as board president from 2002-2004. He is also a member of the UTSA College of Liberal and Fine Arts Advisory Council and serves on the
Chancellor’s Council of the University of Texas System. For the past several years, he has generously sponsored an Alumni Association scholarship for a deserving UTSA student.
