PlainsCapital Bank Serves as Presenting Sponsor for the Texas Trailblazers Luncheon in San Antonio Benefitting Witte Museum
PlainsCapital Bank in San Antonio served as the presenting sponsor of the Texas Trailblazers Luncheon benefitting the Witte Museum on June 5. More than 270 people attended the event, including Mike Molak, San Antonio Bank president and luncheon committee chair, Brian Heflin, chief operating officer of PlainsCapital Bank and Paul Holubec, Central and South Texas region chairman of PlainsCapital Bank. Net funds raised at the luncheon totaled $45,500 which will be used to benefit the essential operations of the Witte Museum. The museum’s mission is to promote lifelong learning through innovative exhibitions, programs and collections in natural history, science and South Texas heritage.
The Witte Museum welcomes an average of 350,000 visitors a year and is San Antonio’s oldest and most visited museum. Throughout the year, more than 150,000 school-aged children enjoy the museum and 75,000 visitors take part in “Free Tuesday,” a program designed to provide access to all who wish to experience the Witte Museum.
