PlainsCapital Bank Participates in Annual Reverchon Park Cleanup
On Saturday, March 2, more than 20 PlainsCapital Bank employee volunteers participated in the annual Reverchon Park cleanup in Dallas. This year’s cleanup was held on Dallas’ annual “It’s My Park Day,” a citywide initiative to make local parks cleaner and greener. Volunteers planted flower beds, picked up trash and cleared fallen tree limbs to beautify the park and make it more accessible for local residents and children at the neighboring Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
For nearly 10 years, PlainsCapital Bank has been a proud sponsor of Friends of Reverchon Park, a nonprofit organization dedicated to park history education, preservation and restoration fundraising. Blake Settle, branch operations manager at PlainsCapital Bank in Irving has served on the Board of Friends of Reverchon Park for five years.
“PlainsCapital Bank’s continued sponsorship and support plays a key role in preserving the natural beauty of Reverchon Park,” said Settle. “Our participation and involvement with the annual cleanup ensures local residents and children from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and the surrounding neighborhoods have a safe, clean area where they can enjoy the outdoors. The bank has provided lunch and volunteers for this park cleanup for 10 years and will continue to help keep Reverchon Park beautiful.”
