PlainsCapital Bank and PrimeLending Participate in H.O.P.E. Farm’s Annual Fall Festival
PlainsCapital Bank and PrimeLending participated in H.O.P.E. Farm’s annual fall festival in Fort Worth on Oct. 19. More than 150 people attended the community event where representatives from both companies set up tables with free games, giveaways and banking and mortgage information. Mo the Buffalo also attended the event to take pictures with kids.
H.O.P.E. Farm is a nonprofit organization for at-risk boys from single-parent homes who lack a positive male influence in their lives. The fall festival, a free community event open to the public, provided activities for the whole family including, music, bounce houses, food, games, face painting, dental and vision screenings, a mobile museum, horse rides, bike repair and free bike helmets. Bags of groceries were also given to neighborhood families upon leaving the festival.
PlainsCapital Bank’s Fort Worth Upward Momentum team which includes Kami Bedford, Andy Friederichs, Jim Vineyard and Erin Rowton partnered with H.O.P.E. Farm as part of their service project to teach financial literacy classes to middle school students.
