PlainsCapital Bank and PrimeLending Donate Gifts for The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program
PlainsCapital Bank and PrimeLending helped make Christmas a little brighter for North Texas children and senior citizens in need this holiday season. PlainsCapital Bank and PrimeLending partnered with Ernst & Young and Haynes and Boone to donate hundreds of gifts helping more than 300 Angels as part of The Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree program.
On Friday, December 7, Santa, “Mo” the Buffalo and dozens of PlainsCapital Bank employees and executives gathered in front of the giant Christmas tree at One Victory Park and loaded hundreds of gifts onto the Salvation Army truck for delivery to the Salvation Army Dallas Donation Center. J.J. Gomez, president of PlainsCapital Bank, Victory Park, along with Santa and “Mo” arrived at the Donation Center to help The Salvation Army volunteers unload all of the gifts for distribution.
“Every child deserves to have a gift waiting for them under the tree on Christmas morning,” said Gomez. “Giving back to the community is really important at PlainsCapital Bank, especially around the holidays. There is something so heartwarming about giving gifts to children that would otherwise go without Christmas presents.”
PlainsCapital Bank has supported The Salvation Army Angel Tree program since 2009. Last year, they helped provide more than 260 gifts to needy children and senior citizens in North Texas.
