PlainsCapital Bank Finances Construction of Baylor Medical Office Development
PlainsCapital Bank worked with HFF to secure five-year, floating-rate construction financing for the development of The Gaston Avenue Medical Office Building. The 182,054-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical office is slated for the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas campus.
HFF is a provider of commercial real estate and capital market services. HFF worked on behalf of a partnership of physicians to secure the financing.
The completed medical office building will be situated on 2.7 acres of land directly across Gaston Avenue from the Truett and Hoblitzelle hospital buildings in the heart of the Baylor campus. Approximately 57 physicians will collectively own and occupy the new building which will feature a combination of full-floor and individual suite configurations. The building will also house a large amount of imaging and diagnostic space in addition to ground-floor retail space.
