 PlainsCapital Bank Welcomes James A Wiggins

May 12, 2011—James A. Wiggins recently joined PlainsCapital Bank as president of its Frisco branch. Wiggins will be responsible for managing the bank’s operations and overseeing business development activities for Frisco.
 
Wiggins has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in commercial lending, business development and risk management. Prior to joining PlainsCapital, Wiggins served as regional president of Benefit Bank and was also a founding member of the bank, which opened in 1999 and grew to more than $230 million in assets.
 
Currently, Wiggins serves as a board member for Starwood Homeowners Association and is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He previously served as a founding board member and president of the Risk Management Association’s Northwest Arkansas Chapter, where he also received the chapter’s Excellence Award in 2007. Wiggins earned a B.B.A. in finance from Baylor University.
