PlainsCapital Bank’s Andy Friederichs Awarded the Alumni Association Scholarship from SW Graduate School of Banking
Andy Friederichs, commercial lender at PlainsCapital Bank in Arlington, was awarded the $500 Alumni Association Scholarship from Southern Methodist University’s SW Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB) for his academic achievement. The grant is one of three new scholarships given to second- and third-year students who effectively distinguish themselves among their peers while representing the educational ideals of SWGSB.
Andy is currently in his second year of SWGSB, one of the nation’s top educational sources for financial industry professionals. The three-year course is a leadership development program focused on management training, strategic visioning and long-range planning. The School’s faculty are drawn from the country’s top banking, loan and commercial lending experts, bank regulators, consultants, economists and law authorities.
“I am very proud of Andy and his achievements at SW Graduate School of Banking,” said Mark Warren, PlainsCapital Bank’s Fort Worth region chairman. “He is a hardworking, dedicated employee who has proven more than worthy of this recognition, and I am confident that Andy will continue to excel and distinguish himself among his peers during his last year in this program.”
