Craig Hester began his professional investment management career in 1972. Hester serves on the University of Texas Ex-Students Association Investments Committee (Chair), The M.B.A. Investment Fund Advisory Committee of the UT Graduate School of Business, the Employees Retirement System of Texas Investment Advisory Committee (past chair), and as Teacher Retirement System of Texas Investment Advisor. A UT graduate (B.B.A., 1971; M.B.A., 1972), Hester received the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chartered Investment Counselor designations in 1997 and 1992, respectively. He serves on the UT Ex-Students Association Board, on the KMFA Capitol Broadcasting Association Advisory Council, as a Junior League of Austin Community Advisor and on the Scottish Rite Learning Center of Austin, Inc. Board. He is 2004 Foundation for SafePlace Chair-elect and was recently elected to the University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO) Board of Directors.
